Black Girls With Green Thumbs will facilitate an interactive “Parts of the Plant” sensory learning station for individuals with autism, ages 6–21.
Participants will explore plant life and learn about the different parts of a plant, including roots, stems, leaves, flowers, and fruits, through hands-on activities that engage the five senses: sight, hearing, touch, taste, and smell. Participants will also receive a take-home plant puzzle to reinforce what they've learned.
We're excited to help make life sciences and STEM education more accessible and inclusive.
Please share this opportunity with any families or individuals in your networks who might enjoy participating! The Eagles have provided us with a special registration code for families interested in attending the All Abilities STEM Clinic.
Registration is free using the code above.
